S'cool Moves activities are designed for typically developing students and support IEP goals for children with special needs. These activities are used under the supervision of a medical expert when working with severely disabled children or children with autism or specific diagnosis. Children with IEPs must have their team's approval to participate in this program. Children with Down Syndrome can be severely injured doing these activities due to spinal issues. Always err on the side of caution when working with children and seek medical advice or advice from the child's doctor, occupational therapist or physical therapist. S'cool Moves is a collaborative program and does not replace children's prescribed support services such as occupational or physical therapy sessions. S'cool Moves makes no claims to heal, fix, or remediate dyslexia, ADHD, autism, developmental delays, sensory processing disorder, or other medical conditions. S'cool Moves activities do not replace the need for medical care and specialized care for children. S'cool Moves is a supplemental approach and not a stand alone program for children with mental, physical, emotional, or academic challenges.
