There are several ways to provide quality training for your organization. Whether you have a grand budget (rare these days!) or a challenging one, there are options available. This workshop focuses on the foundation skills essential for self-regulation, brain integration, and school success. S'cool Moves participants receive the Foundation Moves curriculum book along with 20 Foundation Moves posters. The Foundation Moves curriculum includes theory, behavior checklists, lesson plans, and home letters written in English and Spanish. Music, movement, and calming routines are enjoyed by all.

This one day training provides an overview of research, theory, and activities primarily for grades K-5 and middle or high school teachers working with students with special needs. Staff members will be provided with follow-up staff development ideas to further the implementation of the program. Video clips and other materials cannot be adequately covered in one day. You'll have to do some staff collaboration after the initial training is completed, which includes viewing videos and reading materials that are provided for your staff.
The two day training allows for more time to learn all the S'cool Moves activities and participate in group discussions to focus on implementation ideas. Two days are ideal, but we realize that many organizations do not have two days available
Sponsor a training by providing a facility and receive five free spaces and reduced group rate for your staff members. Full pay participants from outside your district need to attend to offset training costs. S’cool Moves handles all registrations, travel costs, and materials. This option is great for limited budgets.

Send a qualified person to our four day district trainer institute held each July in Redding, CA. This person becomes your S’cool Moves trainer and assists your staff with implementation. Classroom materials are discounted to those who complete the district trainer institute. This option is affordable and provides on-going support for training whenever it is needed in your district.
