Optional DVD and Booklet
If you are unfamiliar with Focus Moves materials, you will need this informative DVD set for successful implementation. The DVD set includes one instructional DVD that opens with Debra Em Wilson discussing theory and an overview of the S'cool Moves program. Children from a lower elementary Montessori program teach your students how to do the beginning level posters and children from a fifth grade elementary classroom teach your students how to do the intermediate level posters. Debra Em Wilson narrates each poster so the students and teachers understand the academic link for each poster.
The second DVD is focused on implementation. It answers the question, "How do I use these posters?" You'll discover that there are as many creative ways to use the posters as there are creative teachers and therapists. You can click on different grades and programs to see how the Focus Moves posters are being used. Focus Moves is an inclusive program so the DVD includes a segment with Sean, an inspirational child with Cerebral Palsy. He shows you how to modify the activities for children in wheelchairs. This booklet is a handy instruction guide for beginning and intermediate posters. The booklet supports the instructional DVD and provides a brief overview of theory.
