S’cool Moves is a family-owned company
located in Shasta, California. Our employees are educators
whose goals are to provide excellent products and training
to help create sensory supportive environments for all children.
The company grew out of Debra Em Wilson’s
vision to provide foundation skills for students whose families
did not have the financial capability to pay for private therapy
clinics, behavioral optometry sessions, or expensive learning
intervention programs.
As a company, we pride ourselves in staying
current on the latest brain research, mind-body science, and
psychological findings. Our job is to translate the research
into practical application for classrooms, clinics, and home.
S’cool Moves activities bridge occupational
therapy practices with classroom, clinic, and home. Our products
offer simple, effective ways to help all children reach their
full potential by improving the sensory foundation for learning.
S’cool Moves believes joy is an important
part of everyone’s day, so our products and workshops
provide activities that are fun and engaging for teachers,
parents, therapists, and students alike.
Debra Em Wilson is the mother of a child with
special needs. S'cool Moves was developed as a way to meet
her needs at home and in the classroom setting. Children with special needs follow their own unique
time frames. It is our role to support children with special
needs by providing developmental activities and unconditional
love that keeps them moving forward, at their own pace.
Her daughter is now a vibrant teenager having
surpassed all expectations from the medical community. Debra
owes a debt of gratitude to the team around her who keeps her
moving forward including teachers, specialists, friends, and
family. |
